#25-254 Sanders v. Superior Court, S291437.  (B340707; 110 Cal.App.5th 1304; Los Angeles County Superior Court; 21STCV31165.)  Petition for review after the Court of Appeal granted a petition for peremptory writ of mandate.  The court ordered briefing deferred pending decision in Hohenshelt v. Superior Court, S284498 (#24-98), which presents the following issue:  Does the Federal Arbitration Act (9 U.S.C. § 1 et seq.) preempt state statutes prescribing the procedures for paying arbitration fees and providing for forfeiture of the right to arbitrate if timely payment is not made by the party who drafted the arbitration agreement and who is required to pay such fees?
