GMSR is proud to again sponsor the PCI Western Region General Counsel Seminar in San Diego, California.  On Thursday, July 26, 2018, at 10:00 a.m., GMSR’s Gary Wax and David Hackett will present, “Stop controlling me!” – a practical discussion for employers, insurers, and insureds about employee/independent contractor classification in the “gig economy.”  Gary and David will examine recent decisions involving gig companies like Uber and Grubhub and will provide tips for insurers and employers regarding the proper classification of workers in the wake of the California Supreme Court’s recent and potentially groundbreaking Dynamex decision.
