Surgin Surgical v. Truck Insurance Exchange, 2002 Cal.App. Unpub. LEXIS 5582

The Court of Appeal reversed a $59.8 million default judgment against GMSR’s insurance company client stemming from terminating discovery sanctions in an insurance bad faith case, holding the judgment violated due process because of lack of adequate notice.
