Slack v. Regents of University of California (Nov. 29, 2004, B164521) 2004 WL 2699976 [nonpublished opinion]

The Court of Appeal affirmed a summary judgment granted to GMSR client Regents in a medical malpractice action, holding the trial court did not abuse its discretion in denying plaintiff’s request for a continuance and that plaintiff could not obtain relief from the judgment based on attorney negligence under Code of Civil Procedure section 473.
