Haycock v. Hughes Aircraft Co. (1994) 22 Cal.App.4th 1473

The Court of Appeal reversed a judgment against GMSR client Hughes Aircraft Co. in a wrongful discharge case, holding that Labor Code section 2922 creates a presumption of at-will employment and, since the burden of proof is on the plaintiff employee to prove he was not an at-will employee, the trial court erred in taking the issue from the jury.
