GMSR successfully represented the co-executors and trustees of the George R. Hearst, Jr. estate in an appeal challenging the enforcement of a marital property settlement. Following the death of George R. Hearst, Jr., his former spouse sought to rescind a prior settlement resolving her claims against the estate and trust. The trial court enforced the agreement under Code of Civil Procedure section 664.6, and the Court of Appeal affirmed, upholding the validity and binding effect of the parties’ settlement.
