Maggie is an appellate litigator with nearly a decade of experience representing clients on appeal and advising trial counsel on issue preservation and disposition.
Her practice focuses on identifying, developing, and advancing the issues most likely to drive an appellate outcome, regardless of subject matter. She regularly distills complex trial records into focused, dispositive arguments grounded in statutory interpretation, constitutional law, and civil procedure, and has argued appeals in federal and California state courts.
Before joining the firm, Maggie practiced in the Issues & Appeals group at a global law firm and served as a law clerk to the Honorable John B. Owens of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She graduated first in her class from the University of Notre Dame Law School.
Maggie lives in San Diego with her family. Outside of her practice, she enjoys gardening, hosting friends and family, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
