GMSR’s Nadia Sarkis Elevated To Partner

Greines, Martin, Stein and Richland is pleased to announce that Nadia Sarkis has become the firm’s newest partner.

Nadia has successfully prosecuted and defended numerous appeals in California and federal courts, focusing on civil rights litigation, employment, and municipal liability. Those efforts have resulted in multiple victories, including Morgan v. J-M Manufacturing Co., Inc. (2021) 60 Cal.App.5th 1078, Shirvanyan v. Los Angeles Community College District (2021) 59 Cal.App.5th 82, and B.Q. v. Dekok (9th Cir. 2020) 825 Fed.Appx. 533. She also has drafted amicus briefs in several cases before the U.S. Supreme Court and Ninth Circuit.

Nadia received her law degree from Northwestern University School of Law, and her undergraduate degree from Princeton University. She began her career clerking for Chief Justice Mary Mullarkey of the Colorado Supreme Court and Ferdinand F. Fernandez of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and previously worked at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, LLP and a litigation boutique, where she handled multiple jury trials.
