Peter Goldschmidt

Peter Goldschmidt has always been passionate about appellate advocacy. In law school, he clerked for the International Criminal Court’s Appeals Chamber, and after law school, he clerked for the Eighth Circuit. These clerkships taught Peter what judges value most in briefs and oral argument.

After clerking, Peter litigated numerous complex commercial cases at two prominent trial firms in Los Angeles, but he always gravitated toward briefing and arguing dispositive legal issues. As an appellate lawyer, Peter uses his litigation experience to quickly spot case-altering issues buried deep in lengthy trial records.

When Peter’s not digging through transcripts or drafting pithy legal arguments, he’s probably outside with his dogs or on a travel adventure.
