Cindy Tobisman and Bob Olson scored a quick writ victory here. After GMSR had obtained an affirmance on appeal of a trial court's judgment notwithstanding the verdict order on one cause of action and new trial order on another, opposing counsel filed a Code of Civil Procedure section 170.6 challenge to the trial judge, which the Orange County Superior Court accepted. Under a short deadline, Cindy and Bob prepared and filed a writ petition. The Court of Appeal issued an alternative writ. The trial court complied with the alternative writ.
